Modern
technology has allowed us to make dental implant
procedures simpler, safer, and more precise than ever
before.
Compared to traditional techniques using two dimensional
x-rays, estimating measurements, and “eyeballing” the
placement of the implant, we plan where the implant
should be placed with three dimensional CAT scans that
allow us to measure to an accuracy of 0.1 mm while using
specialized software to plan our final result.
Here,
implants are an exact procedure. Unlike traditional
techniques, we begin by determining where the final
tooth position should be and work back from that to find
the best location of the implant. Our CAT scan shows us
exactly where to maximize bone support, avoid nerves,
and minimize complications. If ideal placement requires
rebuilding bone that has been lost, we can easily take
care of that.
After we
determine the position of the implant, we send the
information to a laboratory to create a surgical guide
that allows us to place the implant exactly where it’s
planned.
Precise and
reliable, our computer guided implant procedure
eliminates the guesswork so you can be confident it is
the best choice for dental implants.
When you
can know, why would you guess?
